Power comes from either a DeWALT XR Lithium-ion battery (it will accept 10.8 volt, 14.4 volt and 18 volt) or 230-volt main. This makes good use of your spare DeWALT batteries when access to mains power is unavailable. In addition to the radio, the DCR020 has an auxiliary input port. You can connect an MP3 player, iPod or listen to music stored on your phone. There is a built-in compartment to protect the device in use. A USB port allows you to charge your phone or device (when the radio is connected to mains). The clarity of the sound and volume are excellent. A DAB radio gives a much wider choice of stations than a standard radio with much-improved sound quality.
