The ACR Astwood is a Defra exempt stove with a nominal heat output of 5 kW. Like the ACR Hopwood, the Astwood features a large glass door to give you a great view of the fire. This is kept clean from deposits with its powerful airwash. The Astwood has an external riddling handle so that you can easily clear the ashes from the grate without opening the door. The adjustable log guard allows for wood and smokeless coal. When burning wood you want to have the best view of the burning logs, so you have the option of removing the top section of the guard. When burning smokeless fuel you leave both sections of the guard in position to prevent any coals touching the glass and falling out when the door is opened for refuelling. There is the option to use a direct air supply on this model.
The Astwood comes with a black handle as standard. An optional brushed steel handle is available. Please specify when ordering.
